Adelaide Zoo
Adelaide Zoo, one of Adelaide’s most iconic attractions, is home to more than 2,500 animals and 250 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish exhibited over eight hectares of magnificent botanic surroundings.

A 30 minute drive from Windsor Gardens and you will be in the heart of the idyllic Adelaide Hills. A very easy drive, up the South Eastern Freeway, takes you to the quaint historic German village of Hahndorf; boasting a smorgasbord of home-made pastries, preserves and authentic German food, with its main street lined with craft shops. The Adelaide Hills make for an enchanting touring experience.
Adelaide O'Bahn
The O-Bahn is the world’s longest guided bus way and offers the fastest suburban bus service, it runs from the City Centre to Tea Tree Plaza.

Tree Climb
TreeClimb is an innovation from Bounce SA, aiming to create and nurture a unique environment that safely challenges, educates and excites thrill-seekers, nature enthusiasts and curious adventurers. TreeClimb offers 8 elevated treetop courses, including zip lines all set within Kurangga Park (Blue Gum park) in the Adelaide City Park Lands setting.
Adelaide Oval Roof Climb
RoofClimb offers unparalleled 360 degree views of Adelaide and beyond, from our stunning coastline to picturesque foothills. Enjoy a guided tour across the rooftop of the iconic Oval’s Western Stand before navigating to the Riverbank platform, perched 50 metres over the hallowed turf. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will experience the next best thing to flying a real commercial jet airliner. Choose from a wide variety of airports, weather conditions and options. You take control and taxi, take off, fly and land the aircraft yourself! Our replica Boeing 737 Simulator features full cockpit layout, instruments and systems and high definition 180 degree panoramic visuals!
Monarto Safari Park
Monarto Safari Park, formerly known as Monarto Zoo, will be the largest safari experience to exist outside of Africa. Spanning more than 1,500 hectares and home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles, you can actually fit every major zoo in Australia in Monarto Safari Park and still have land left over! Monarto Safari Park is home to many of Africa’s most impressive animals and also one of Australia’s largest lion prides and giraffe herds.
Barossa Valley
Australia’s world famous wine capital features more than 80 winery cellar doors, less than an hours’ drive from our park. The success of the wine industry has historically been celebrated every two years with the week-long Barossa Valley Vintage Festival. The festival draws visitors from all over the world and has entertainment for all tastes including a huge street parade, concerts and gourmet dining.
Geoff Heath Golf Course
On the opposite side of the River Torrens in Lochiel Park (a brief 15-20 minute walk with your golf clubs) lies arguably Adelaide’s “best kept secret”. This course provides sufficient challenge to interest the experienced player but at the same time is not intimidating to beginners and recreational players. Why not try Night Golf from 6:00pm on Fridays, with a glow in the dark golf ball!
